In July 2010, the Welsh Supporters Team were again invited to take part in the Eurofan tournament in Lviv, Ukraine. On the way to Lviv, the team called in on some old friends, when they delivered kit donated from the FAW Trust and Cardiff Cosmos Football Club to the orphanage called Panstwowy Dom Dziecka No. 1 on 38 str Krupnica, 31-123 Kraków, where Gôl had visited in 2005. Thanks to Katarzyna Klosowska, Izabella Cwetsch and Kazimierz Karasinski for helping to organise this visit.
Gôl! Trustee Tim Hartley presents the kits to the Orphanage officials in Krakow.
On arrival in Lviv, Wales recorded their first ever win at the tournament with a 2-1 victory over Germany, before losing in the quarter finals to the Ukraine. Wales again made many friends though with the teams and media in Ukraine, by being at the forefront of the donations to the Maltese Aid Service to distribute to under privileged children in the Lviv region.
The work of the Maltese Aid Service can be seen at their website.
Gôl! Trustee Neil Dymock presents one of the kits donated by the FAW to one of the orphans.
Thanks again to Slavik and Oleg of FC Karpaty Lviv, for helping organise Eurofan and for supporting Wales efforts to help the children of Lviv, as well as the Honorary President of FC "Karpaty" Lviv, Mr Dyminskyy for sponsoring the tournament.
